ShiftDue is an independent UK shift pay calculator. It estimates gross and take-home pay for shift workers in the NHS, retail, hospitality, and other sectors, using publicly available UK 2025/26 tax and rate information (PAYE, National Insurance, NHS pension tiers, student loan thresholds, NHS Section 2 unsocial hours). Every result is shown as a range to make clear it is an estimate, not a guarantee.

ShiftDue is not affiliated with the NHS, with any NHS trust, with any employer, with any union, or with HMRC. Any vertical labels (NHS, retail, hospitality) are used descriptively and do not imply endorsement.
You remain responsible for the accuracy of any pay-related decision you make. If a ShiftDue estimate differs from your payslip, your payslip is authoritative. The estimate is meant to help you sense-check your pay, not to replace your payslip or HMRC.
ShiftDue currently reflects rates for the UK 2025/26 tax year (PAYE bands, National Insurance Class 1 employee rates 8% / 2%, NHS pension tiers 5.2% → 12.5%, Plan 2 student loan threshold £28,470, Plan 5 student loan threshold £25,000, NHS Section 2 unsocial enhancements per band, England). We update rates each April and intend to keep the app current.
NI is calculated on full gross earnings per HMRC manual NIM02365 (Net Pay Arrangement does not reduce the NI base). If you spot an error in our rates, please email support@actinfinity.app and we will investigate within 7 days.
ShiftDue Pro is a one-off £12.99 in-app purchase. It unlocks additional features as described in the app and on the Google Play listing (unlimited history, CSV export, share-as-image, all NHS bands, multi-profile). Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and follow Google Play's refund policy. Refund requests within 48 hours of purchase can usually be made directly through the Play Store.

ShiftDue is provided "as is". Actinfinity (Mănduc S-V. Emanuel-Sorin PFA) is not liable for any financial decision you make based on an estimate the app produced, to the maximum extent permitted by law. The maximum aggregate liability for any claim related to ShiftDue is capped at the amount you paid for ShiftDue Pro (or £0 if you only used the Free tier).

These Terms are governed by the law of Romania (the country where Actinfinity is registered). Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email will be subject to the courts of Sibiu, Romania, without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.
If we materially change these Terms we will update the "Effective date" at the top and surface a notice in the app on next open. Continued use of ShiftDue after that notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
